JACKSON & SARAH FRANCES / ENGAGEMENT / THE GAYLORD TEXAN RESORT / GRAPEVINE, TEXAS

As I glanced over to the family of the nearly engaged couple, excited glances and whispers of anticipation were shared. They all knew something that Sarah Frances didn't: she was about to be proposed to! They all gathered to witness one of the most important moments of this couple's journey together and offer their support as Jackson and Sarah Frances begin their life together.

Of course, I am filled with nervous excitement as I anticipate the couple's arrival to "the spot". Trying to blend in as to not be seen and noticed, I casually take in the sights of the Gaylord Texan lobby. It is so very grand with sprawling greenery, beautifully lit walkways, and huge windows that allow it's indoor space to feel so very much like an outdoor pocket of paradise.

With the help of Savannah, Sarah France's sister, Jackson and Sarah Frances approach the very special spot. My heart is beating ever quicker as I imagine the emotions they're each feeling. No doubt Jackson had to be feeling anxious, excited, and maybe slightly nervous from carrying around a very precious piece of jewelry. As he stopped Sarah Frances in her tracks and pulled her closer to him the look of tender love he gave her was awe inspiring. She was in shock, no doubt, as she had suspected something might be happening, but here was the moment... this is it!

After a sweet exchange of words and a final agreement to spend their lives together, he stands and they embrace for a sweet moment before their family rush in to greet them with warm hugs and congratulations!

It is so very clear by the outpouring of love from all of the family members who were present that their support system is not only strong, but close knit, and will be ever present to help them through the tough times and also celebrate the sweet times.

Here's to the beginning of the rest of their lives as they embark on a special, tough, but oh so rewarding journey as the two of them become one!
